Here’s what I do: Using string and cloth, beads and paint, I explore the beauty and complexity of nature, and the balance between pattern and randomness in the natural world. I make do with available materials and overdo simple techniques to form complicated patterns made of other complicated patterns. I work at the intersection of art, craft and science and on the border between reality and imagination.
